The Holley Institute owns and operates Holley Family Village at De Sales Center which has offered educational and recreational programs for the Deaf, Deaf/Blind and hard of hearing since 1996.
During the summer months and from time to time throughout the year, The Holley Institute offers quality programs for Deaf, Deaf/Blind and hard of hearing people and their families. The Oblates of St. Francis de Sales use the facilities in June for the Salesian Leadership Camp. When not used for these events, the facilities are available to other nonprofit organizations for retreats and workshops.
De Sales Center is situated on 214-acres of quiet woodland in the Irish Hills of Michigan, overlooking beautiful Vineyard Lake. The Holley Institute owns and manages three buildings on the property: Family Village, Village Commons and the Art Center. The Oblates operate Lawrence Lodge, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Chapel, Vineyard Cabin, the Novitiate, and the hermitages.
The Holley Institute has recently become part of Alliance3. This alliance between The Holley Institute, Michigan Ear Institute, and Lakeshore Ear Nose and Throat broadens the scope and services available to all those we serve.
