Family Literacy Weekend is a fun-filled weekend designed for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children ages 2–12 and their families. Through engaging stories, interactive activities, and American Sign Language (ASL), families will build early literacy skills while making lasting memories together.

Join us for interactive ASL storytimes where children and families can enjoy engaging stories, build language skills, and connect through American Sign Language.
Each event will feature a fun and interactive storytime led by our Community Health and Literacy Program Deaf Mentors, along with creative arts and crafts activities for children and families to enjoy together. ASL interpreters will be provided to ensure an inclusive and accessible experience for all participants.
Come celebrate the joy of storytelling, learning, and connection through ASL!

ASL Immersion Weekend is an immersive experience designed for adults ages 18 and older who want to strengthen their American Sign Language (ASL) skills.
Participants will spend the weekend surrounded by ASL in a supportive, voice-off environment while learning from Deaf instructors. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced signer, you'll choose the class that best fits your skill level and enjoy a weekend of interactive instruction, community, and language immersion.
Participants arrive Friday at 6:00pm and depart Sunday around 12:00 p.m.
2026 St Nicholas Christmas Event
Holley Jolly 5K Run/Walk
The Holley Jolly 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly community event that brings together runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters to raise awareness and support for The Holley Institute and Holley Family Village. Proceeds from the event help support life-enhancing programs for Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing children, adults, and families.
