The Holley Institute offers ASL classes in person and online, three times a year-in winter, spring and fall. 

Winter 2026 ASL Classes at a Glance


Family ASL Class

New this winter! Our Family ASL Class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn American Sign Language together as a family. Designed with both kids and adults in mind, this interactive class makes learning ASL fun and accessible for all ages. Whether your family is new to sign language or looking to build on what you already know, you’ll learn to communicate together through games, activities, and hands-on practice in a supportive and engaging environment.


Price

  • Virtual Courses: $75 per person
  • In-Person Courses: $100 per person
  • Family ASL Class: $75 per adult | $50 per child

Henry Ford Health Associates: 10% discount on in-person courses


Time Commitment

Classes meet once per week for 10 weeks

  • In-person classes: 1.5 hours per session
  • Online classes: 1 hour per session
  • Family ASL Class: 1 hour per session for 8 weeks



Levels

Beginner: Focus on foundational ASL vocabulary, structure, and conversational skills

Intermediate: Students should already know the alphabet, fingerspelling, and be able to form simple sentences in ASL


Instruction

All courses are taught by Deaf instructors without an interpreter, providing a fully immersive learning experience.
